As past students of our Association we are happy to present the information of our Association, when our Alma Mater celebrates her 100th Anniversary. Here we mention the bit of history and activities of the Association.

The Josephine’s magazine which was printed in 1951 points out that O.B.A. of our college was started in 1948, It is clearly proved by the annual report of Hon. Secretary Mr. M. Perumal.

However, the earliest editors of the Association were Rev. Brother Honourees (The director of St. Joseph’s College) and Mr. M. perumal. Messrs S.M. Nadaraj, S. Panditharathna, Herath katugaha and K.V. Indrasena they took great immense to bring this to a success.

They established the Association with the view of keeping in touch with old school mates and Alma Mater for every purposes.

The Association paid special interest in all the activites of the college and its progress. Another aim of the Association was the establishment and maintenance of Old Boys’s Sports Club. It gave the opportunity to get together and exchange the ideas and proposals for improvement of the college.
